- This page is about the other half of Azalea. For her real persona, see Azalea Rappaccini.
Azalea-Beatrice is a tentative name to refer to Azalea Giacomo Rappaccini's split personality, Beatrice.
Beatrice is amoral at best, focusing on winning the battle, regardless of her allies. Though quite cruel, she shows some hesitation in killing fellow humans and Faunus.
She's notably more vulgar than Azalea, being almost on the same tier as Maki.
Accounts of her emergence tend to paint her as a child lashing out with a very deadly toy.
In the rare case that she emerges outside of battle, she's shown to be rather clueless of mundane things that Azalea is normally aware of. She doesn't have Azalea's knowledge of medicine, for example.
Weapons and AbilitiesEdit
Like Azalea, she also uses the absurdly heavy Dust-Charged Gun Spear (DCGS), Heliotropium. However, she has shown proficiency in it's blade, unlike Azalea, who focuses on long-range.
As Beatrice, she uses the momentum of the blade itself to her advantage, utilizing it's heavy strikes to propel herself, attacking using her bare hands and legs instead. Though relentless in her attacks, Azalea's terrible stamina doesn't let her last long enough to maximize her assault.
She rarely uses the gun part of her weapon in this state, preferring to get in close and maul the opponent slowly, yet surely.
Beatrice was born from Azalea's mind due to a combination of the constant bullying, herb experimentation and Azalea's depressed state of mind. She represents Azalea's loneliness, which is why Azalea is quite happy these days. Sadly, Beatrice is not.
Due to this, despite being the same person, she grew to hate Azalea herself, who pushed her despair into Beatrice.
Both personalities haven't "met" themselves yet. But if they do... it is likely only one will walk out of it.

- Unintentionally, Azalea-Beatrice became a reference to the culprit of the Rokkenjima Murders in Umineko no Naku Koro Ni, since I was only halfway through the Core Arc when I made Azalea.
- She follows the naming convention of the successors of Beatrice from Umineko no Naku Koro Ni.
